Join us for the Kāpiti Writers' Retreat and renew and recharge your writing and your life.

The Kāpiti Writers’ Retreat is an immersive, two-day gathering for writers, happening on the Kāpiti Coast. The retreat includes morning workshops, afternoon panels, discussions and space and time to write, relax and engage with topics critical to your work.

Choose from one of the six morning workshops offered with one of the these six established New Zealand and international writers: Pip Adam, Gary Copeland Lilley, James George, Helen Lehndorf, Renée or Anna Taylor.

All participants are welcome to join interactive and engaging afternoon sessions on contemporary craft and literature in Aotearoa as well as evening get togethers.

Writers who want to work on their own work are welcome and guided free writing sessions will be available to all not participating in the workshops.

All writers are welcome whatever stage you are at in your writing lives.
